In this climate, a stucco failure is almost always a water failure.
Cracking, staining and delamination are usually symptoms: water got behind the system and had nowhere to go. We price the drainage plane, the flashing and the terminations alongside the finish, because those are the parts that decide whether the wall survives the next ten summers.

- Coastal exposures where the coating system is selected for salt and UV
- Additions and openings that have to match an existing texture
- Repairs opened up after water intrusion has been traced
How it coordinates
- Windows and doors installed and flashed before the system is closed
- Penetrations by other trades located before lath, not cut in afterwards
- Cure time before coating — rushing it is what causes efflorescence
- Joint layout reviewed against the elevation, since it will be visible forever
